Immediately following their tour to Mexico, Hellheart from Modesto California has released their six song Debut EP. Released Halloween, October 31st 2017, "Where's Your Heart At", was recorded at Ashtone Audio in Sacramento and produced by Matt Thomas. The album artwork was done by Jess Gilmore and photography by Julian Aguilar.
Hellheart, a female led band, has worked hard to gain local support and has consciously started the long journey toward a National presence. The band is singed with independent label, Dead Sea Records and has toured California, Nevada and now Mexico. In May 2017, Hellheart released the video King's Cup with over 13,000 views and international press. Last month, Hellheart won the Modesto Area Music Awards in the metal category.
Fronting the Hellheart is powerhouse vocalist Alie Grabowski. Alie blends both clean singing and heavy screams, and brings a high energy, in-your-face stage presence. On guitars, Jess Gilmore and Australian native Eddie Callow combine elements of thrash, power metal, metalcore and hardcore to create an aggressive and unique blend of heavy and hard hitting riffage. Jeff Amador holds it down on bass, bringing the old school Metalcore stylings thats gives the HellHeart songs a unique and fresh feel. Rounding out HellHeart is Kevin Nelson, bringing a flashy blend of post-hardcore and metalcore that helps give the band its unique brand of heavy and melodic tones.
